JCB theft in Odisha foiled by police in Ganjam district on Monday, said reliable reports. There was a movie-style chase. The thief left the JCB and managed to escape.
According to reports, the entire JCB theft was captured on CCTV. The incident has been reported from Ganjam district. The JCB was stolen from Khallikote police station area. The thief was going on the Purushottampur-Kavisuryanagar road from Khallikote with the JCB. After getting to know about it, the Khallikote police approached Purushottampur and Kavisuryanagar police stations for help in catching the JCB thief.
The police of the two police stations started efforts to catch the stolen JCB. They closed the Purushottampur main road with a barricade. But the JCB thief pushed the barricade and escaped. After that, the JCB evaded the police at another intersection. The police chased again.
At another intersection, they tried to catch the JCB by leaving the truck on the road. The thief finally left the JCB on the road and fled. The police are continuing their efforts to arrest the thief.
