Indigo flight technical snag forces the plane to encircle and return back to the originating airport that is Trichy.
According to the detailed reports on Indigo flight technical issues, an IndiGo flight from Trichy to Singapore was carrying 127 passengers.
Confirmed reports on the Indigo flight, say that the aircraft departed at 6:40 pm but then returned to Trichy International Airport around 9:00 pm after circling for nearly two and a half hours following a technical snag.
Further reports say that, the flight which departed at 6:40 pm, was in continuous communication with airport officials as preparations were made for a safe landing after reducing the aircraft’s fuel.
Airport Director Gopalakrishnan told ANI that an alternative flight had been arranged to take the 127 passengers to Singapore. Further detailed reports awaited in this matter.
