Illegal liquor trade busted in Odisha, two shops pulled down and bulldozed by the authorities in Puri district. This action by authorities has been reported from Kundeihat near Kakatpur block of Puri district in Odisha.

Basing on complaints, the illegal liquor trade busted in Odisha. Illegal liquor traders had built illegal shops in various government areas in Kundeihat and were selling different brands of liquor there.

Reports say that, two illegal liquor shops were demolished after the state government ordered to demolish these shops. Two illegal liquor shops were demolished in the presence of a platoon of police force along with the Kakatpur administration.

According to information available, illegal liquor traders had built shops on various government plots in Kundeihat. There were allegations that different brands of liquor were being sold in these outlets without licence.

The administration received regular complaints in this matter and entered action mode and decided to demolish the illegal shops. The administration has said that such action against illegal liquor will continue in the future.
