Heavy to very heavy rainfall likely over Odisha and Chhattisgarh on September 11 with isolated extremely heavy falls today.
Under the influence a low-pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood isolated heavy rainfall also likely over Gangetic West Bengal and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall over Odisha and Jharkhand during September 13 to September 16. Isolated to Scattered rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning likely over Gangetic West Bengal during September 14 to September 16.
Rain will continue in the state due to the influence of the low pressure.
According to the rain warning in Odisha, a red alert warning has been issued for two districts today for heavy rain. The regional Meteorological Department has issued red warning for Kandhamal and Kalahandi districts.
Orange warning has been issued for five districts for heavy to very heavy rain. Yellow alert has been issued for all other districts of the state for heavy rain.
