A cyclone over North Thailand is slowly moving towards the Andaman Sea. It is likely to reach the North Andaman Sea by tomorrow evening.
According to the IMD, the cyclone has spread up to an altitude of about 7.6 km above sea level. Under its influence, a low pressure area may form in the North Andaman Sea and its surrounding areas by the evening of the next 19th.
The low pressure is likely to gradually become more active and move west-northwestwards. It may head towards the South Odisha or North Andhra Pradesh coast in the next three to four days.
