Car accident in Madhya Pradesh as eight people from Odisha have been killed as their vehicle got swept away. The deceased include three children, two women and three men.
Accordig to reliable reports, the people died after the car carrying them was swept away by a rain-swollen stream. The car accident in Madhya Pradesh took place near the Maa Baglamukhi Temple in Nalkheda, Agar Malwa district.
All the deceased were residents of Odisha and had travelled from Ujjain to offer prayers in the temple. Preliminary findings suggest the driver may have attempted to cross the stream hastily amid a strong current, leading to the accident.
Administrative officials and rescue teams rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. The identities of the deceased are being ascertained said a police officer.
