There has been another horrific car accident in Bhubaneswar in the wee hours of Wednesday. The speeding car rammed into 10 vehicles. Leaving at least one dead and seven critically injured.
According to reports, the car accident in Bhubaneswar was scary as the vehicle reportedly continued hitting vehicles. However the first collision occurred near Nuagaon Square. The car then caused a series of accidents before crashing into a road divider near SUM Hospital.
According to reports, one person was killed on the spot and seven others have been critically injured. Locals say that the driver was likely in a badly drunken state. The police has seized the vehicle and has launched an investigation in this incident.
Accident in Bhubaneswar by drunk woman driver
On October 7, a young drunk woman driver was involved in the series accident in Bhubaneswar. She was in an inebriate state and was driving recklessly, said reports. The impact was so severe that the bike rider fell and was drenched in blood.
The car then went on to hit a number of other bike riders before it stopped. Eyewitnesses have alleged that the young woman who caused the accident was driving in a very badly drunk state.
Following the incident, there was an intense protest by the locals present at the scene. People blocked the car and created a ruckus, which caused a major traffic jam for some time.
Little later the police arrived on the spot and placated the angered locals. The injured youth has been admitted to the hospital. Police investigation is underway. They have seized the car and are interrogating the woman in question.
