There has been a blast in blast in a Telangana Chemical Factory in which two people have lost their lives and nine have sustained serious injuries. The bodies of the deceased have been shifted for post-mortem examination (PME), and the injured have been shifted to the hospital for treatment, said reliable reports.
According to a fire official, the blast in a Telangana chemical factory occurred last night at around 10:30 pm. The locals called the fire department and informed that a blast has occurred in a pharma company.
Reports said, one fire vehicle from Choutuppal and two from other places reached the spot. The incident happened at a private laboratory in Dotigudem village of Pochampally mandal in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana.
It was confirmed that, the blast in the pharma company led to the death of two people and nine others sustained serious injuries. They were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
It is suspected that a reactor may have exploded, currently investigation is underway for the cause of the explosion. Detailed reports awaited in this matter.
