There has been an accident in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh. In the accident as many as eight people have been killed and 23 people have been injured.
According to reports in the tragic accident in Bhind, a pickup van collided with a truck. As many as eight people were killed on the spot and 23 others were injured. The matter took place on Highway number 719 in Gohad area of Bhind.
The pickup van was full of labourers travelling from Gwalior to their respective villages in Madhya Pradesh. It is believed that, the accident occurred as the van tried to avoid cattle on the road and rammed into an oncoming truck.
The locals and the police immediately rushed to the spot to help the injured. It is reported that there were as many as 35 labourers onboard the pickup van and they had gone for paddy cultivation.
Police recovered the bodies with the help of the locals and sent the injured to the local hospital. An investigation is underway as to the exact reason of the tragic accident.
