There has been a shocking and tragic accident during airshow in Greece in which two pilots have been killed. The video of the entire incident has gone viral.
According to reliable reports, the accident during airshow took place in Athens. A Hellenic Air Force F-4 Phantom fighter jet crashed during a demonstration flight, said reports. According to local media, the military aircraft caught fire in two places before going down.
The aircraft was flying just meters above the ground during a low-altitude maneuver. It plunged into the ground, erupted in flames, and sent a massive mass of black smoke bellowing into the sky.
Reportedly there was and initial uncertainty regarding the crew. Citing local authorities, it is confirmed in an update that the bodies of both pilots were recovered at the crash site.
