Baby born in ambulance in Odisha’s Deogarh district as floodwaters submerge bridge connecting the village, said reports on Sunday. Reports say that there was knee-deep water on the bridge in Deogarh hence the ambulance stopped halfway.
The family carried the woman to the ambulance but since the bridge was flooded the ambulance could not move. It is due to these conditions that the baby born in ambulance in Odisha.
Furthermore, electricity to Kaliapal village of Barkot block in Deogarh district has been cut off. Knee-deep water is flowing on the bridge.
After the child birth in the ambulance teatment of the woman and the newborn is being done at the Barkot Hospital. According to locals, when the rain increases, the water in the Nala increases and it becomes dangerous to travel on the bridge. The residents of the area have demanded a permanent solution to this major problem.
