The Bhubaneswar school girl death has become a matter of concern for the entire city. It has raised concerns about the safety of kids in schools.
The shocking incident of the Bhubaneswar school girl death happened as follows. The matter was reported to the Saheed Nagar police by the parents at around 4:30. The 7-year-old girl was last seen around 1:20 pm on July 29, 2026 by the school authorities. As she went missing post midday recess, school authorities informed the family. The police after the complaint immediately sprung into action mode. All the PCR vans were alerted.
It is worth mentioning here that, the girl was said to be autistic and needed special care and attention. The girl was spotted in the CCTV video walking on the road near the school, said reports later on.
However, in the late evening hours locals spotted a body floating in the flooded fountain in a park in the nearby Reserve Colony area and immediately alerted the police. Immediate rescue operation was carried out and she was rushed to Capital Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
