Odisha CM Mohan Majhi has a big announcement for the OCS aspirants on the occasion of 80th Independence Day. The announcements on Odisha OCS exam changes to be effected soon, bringing major relief to the aspirants.

According to reports, the attempt limit has been lifted and the upper age limit of Odisha OCS Exams has been increased further. The announcement of the Odisha Civil Service Exam changes was made by the CM. This has brought much relief to the Civil Services aspirants in Odisha.

It is worth mentioning that, the upper age limit for government jobs, which was earlier 40 years, has now been increased to 42 years. In addition, limits on the number of attempts was removed for the OAS exam and other exams under OPSC.

Here is the X post of the CMO in this regard. The X post is in Odia which roughly translates as, “On the occasion of 80th Independence Day, the Hon’ble Chief Minister has announced to remove the earlier limit of 6 slots (attempts) for Odisha Civil Services Examination (OCS).”

“Now the aspirants can appear in the examination till their maximum age limit. This will create a huge opportunity for our determined youth to join the civil services and contribute to the progress of the state,” the tweet added further.
