Independence Day celebration in Bhubaneswar

Independence Day celebration in Bhubaneswar will be special this year as the National Anthem will be sung twice. As the country celebrates its 80th Independence Day in a day’s time. State-level Independence Day preparations are in the final stages.

For the Independence Day celebration in Bhubaneswar full dress rehearsal on Gandhi Marg in Lower PMG. 51 contingents are participating. In which 19 contingents are from the police. Similarly, 25 contingents from various schools and colleges are participating.

For the first time this year, along with Vande Mataram and the national anthem will also be performed twice. For security reasons, the parade ground has been kept under tight security. Anti-drone system and anti-terrorist squad have also been deployed. Gandhi Marg will be under close surveillance.

Keeping in mind the presence of VIPs and VVIPs, the state-level Independence Day will be celebrated under tight security. The DGP himself will be present to review the parade preparations. Special emphasis has been given to make the parade flawless and attractive.

This time, a team of Chhattisgarh Police will increase the attraction of the parade. For security reasons, a three-tier security arrangement has been made on Gandhi Marg. Roads connecting to Gandhi Marg have been sealed and suspicious movements are being monitored.
