A man bites a cobra to death and kills it! This shocking incident has been reported from Jharsuguda district of Odisha on Monday. This incident has shocked both the doctors and the locals. And has become a point of discussion in the area.
According to reports, the man spotted a snake in Pakelpada village in Jharsuguda district. He accidentally stepped on it. The snake then raised its fang. Then in a fit of rage, the man picked up the snake and ripped off its head.
It is reported that according to a myth, if a cobra bites you and you bite it back, the venom of the snake does not spread in the body. This is likely to be the reason why the man bit the snake and killed it on the spot. However it is worth mentioning here that, snake flesh is not poisonous.
The man was later admitted to the hospital as he reportedly felt dizzy. The doctors have kept him under observation for 24-hours.
