KSRTC bus accident on Saturday killed two people and critically injured 14 others. According to reports, the bus overturned on the Mysuru-Bengaluru Expressway.

In a tragic incident, there has been a KSRTC bus accident in which the driver and the conductor have died on the spot and as many as 14 people have been critically injured. The deceased driver has been identified as Mithilesh and the conductor as Arun.

Reports say that the bus was enroute from Kozhikode to Bengaluru. The bus accident occurred basically due to slippery roads due to rain. The driver lost control crashing into a signboard and overturning near Bidadi on the Mysuru-Bengaluru Expressway.

The police immediately reached the spot and rescued the injured with the help of the locals and rushed them to the hospital nearby. The traffic was disrupted on the route for some time.

According to an update from the Kerala CMO, “Keralam Chief Minister VD Satheesan urged Karnataka Health Minister UT Khader to ensure the best possible treatment for those injured in the KSRTC bus accident at Bidadi in Karnataka.”

Further, “The Chief Minister spoke to Karnataka Health Minister UT Khader over the phone and also sought details about the health condition of those injured and undergoing treatment.”
