In a tragic incident, two youths swept away in Kuakhai river said reliable reports. A search operation is underway for them by the fire department.
Reports say, the two youths swept away in Kuakhai are residents of Balianta area. It is reported that the two has gone swimming when the tragic incident took place.
Further reports say that the locals heard screams and rushed to the river banks but could not find anyone. However a few locals jumped into the river but could not achieve any results. Hence, they immediately alerted the local fire department.
The fire department personnel reached the spot swiftly and launched a massive search operation. At the time of filing of the report, the search was still underway.
It is worth mentioning here that, the river is in full spate due to the recent spell of rains. Further, the identity of the two youths is yet to be ascertained. Detailed reports awaited in this matter.
