A bus hit a car from behind in a road accident in Bhadrak. The incident took place near Gaylpur Square on National Highway No. 16. The car was hit by a speeding bus from behind.
According to reports, late at night a car with four people was coming from Chandikhol to Balasore when a speeding bus hit it from behind near Gaylpur Square under Bhadrak Rural Police Station limits. The impact of the collision was so great that the car was dragged for some distance, said eyewitnesses.
In the road accident in Bhadrak, the rear of the car was damaged completely but it was miraculous escape for the people in the car, no one was injured. However, there was a major argument between the bus driver and the car driver. Tension prevailed in the area for sometime.
The locals and the police then intervened then normalcy was restored. Further detailed reports awaited.
