There has been a severe road accident in Jajpur district of Odisha in which as many as seven people have been critically injured.
According to reports as many as four vehicles were involved in the accident. A speeding car from Bari reportedly lost control and rammed into a scooter and a number of bikes on the road. The incident took place in Kuakhia market place.
Since it was a market place a number of pedestrians were also injured in the road accident in Jajpur. The locals immediately alerted the local police. They also called for ambulance and helped rescue the injured.
It is worth mentioning that the driver of the car has been held by the police and is being questioned. Further detailed reports awaited in this regard.
