In a major development in Odisha, the CM has approved honorarium for the Sarpanch and Naib Sarpanch on Friday. The Chief Minister has approved 6-months honorarium.
According to reports, the Sarpanchs will get 10,000 rupees and Naib Sarpanch will get 4,000 rupees each. Today, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved a honorarium of six months for Sarpanch and Naib Sarpanch.
It is worth mentioning that they are the elected public representatives at the Gram Panchayat level of the state. Sarpanch will be given 10,000 rupees and Naib Sarpanch will be given 4,000 rupees each.
A total amount of 56 crore 55 lakh 72 thousand rupees has been approved for this. This honorarium will be given for 6 months from April 1 to September 30.
