There has been a tragic and heart rendering Pakistan school roof collapse in which 30 children have been killed on the spot.
The incident occurred in a private school in Dir Colony in the inner city area of Peshawar, in the northern part of the country. The victims include as many as 30 students and two teachers. More than 30 others have been injured and hospitalized.
Footage from the scene of the tragedy is spreading widely on social media. The scenes can melt even the strongest of persons. It shows large crowds gathered outside the school, removing debris in basins and passing them along a human chain.
The Pakistan school roof collapse is a developing story. The rescue work is still underway. However it is worth mentioning here that the, Officials fear that the toll may rise further as several still remain trapped. Many are still feared to be buried under the debris.
