In the tragic gas leak in Jajpur district of Odisha, the woman has succumbed to burn injuries following her 4-year-old daughter.
The incident in question occurred on October 11, a gas leak in Jajpur caused fire and 4-year-old girl died and her parents were injured.
Reports add that, the incident took place in Aravall village of Dharmashala police station in Jajpur district. While one of them was making tea and bread, when the gas suddenly leaked. As a result, a major and sudden fire broke out.
Reports say that, his wife and 4-year-old girl who were inside the house were seriously injured. The locals rescued everyone in critical condition and admitted them to Dharmashala Hospital.
However, the doctor there declared the girl dead there. They also informed the police and fire department. Since the condition of the husband and wife was critical, both of them had been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital.
On receiving the information, the fire brigade personnel reached the spot and doused the fire. The police also reached the spot and investigated the incident. All the furniture in the house has been reduced to ashes due to the fire.
The latest update is that the woman has breathed her last at SCB today while undergoing treatment. Further details awaited in this matter.
