A Flydubai flight bound for Tel Aviv was forced to declare an emergency mid-air and return to Dubai while flying over Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
According to reports, a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv earlier today was suspected of being hijacked after the emergency signal on the plane was activated.
One of the reports say that, the two co-pilots were reportedly Russian and Ukrainian. Later, they reportedly got into a fight in the cockpit and at least one of them had a pocketknife.
Further, authorities are investigating claims that one of the pilots attempted a mass suicide.
A few other reports say that the pilots were involved in a physical altercation. This apparently led to the emergency alert and diversion.
Few others claim that, an attempt was made to stab one of the pilot. Reportedly, Israeli passengers intervened and took control of the situation.
