Indian cargo vessel sinks

In a tragic incident, an Indian cargo vessel sinks off the coast of Yemen. The vessel was identified as MSV Faize Noore Oliya. It capsized and sank after being hit by a projectile near Yemeni waters, said reports on Tuesday.

The incident took place in the Red Sea, about 13 nautical miles (24 kilometers) south of Hodeidah, Yemen. The news of the Indian cargo vessel sink was confirmed by the Indian Shipping Minister. It is further worth mentioning here that among all the 14 seafarers aboard the vessel, 13 were Indians.

They were however later on safely rescued by the Yemeni Coast Guard and taken to the Port of Mokha, the Minister clearly informed.

The Indian cargo vessel sink was a shocking incident. It is said to be a part of of a series of attacks presently going on in Yemen. It is worth mentioning here that the crew abandoned the vessel immediately however one seafarer is still missing.
