There has been a bike accident in Daspalla of Nayagarh district in Odisha in which 1 person has died on the spot. Reports say that another has been critically injured.
The tragic road accident in Daspalla occurred near Banigocha College on National Highway No. 57, under Banigocha police station limits. One person died on the spot while another was seriously injured.
According to information, a speeding vehicle enroute from Puri to Bolangir lost control and hit a bike enroute from Phulbani to Daspalla. The impact was so strong that the bike rider died on the spot. Another person on the bike was seriously injured.
On receiving the information, Banigocha police immediately reached the spot. They sent the seriously injured person to Daspalla Community Health Center (CHC) in an ambulance. The police have seized the body and sent it for post-mortem and are investigating into the bike accident in Daspalla.
Similar Road Accident in Sundargarh
A similar incident took place earlier today, in Sundargarh district of Odisha in which three people succumbed. The incident took place under Talasara Police station limits.
According to reports, a speeding SUV rammed into the bike and the bike fell into an open drain on the side of the road. A man, his father and a minor who was a relative were on the bike. All three of them died in the accident.
The accident occurred in the wee hours in front of the petrol pump in Talasara Police station jurisdiction. The deceased were residents of the nearby village called Kukidihi. All three of them succumbed in the accident in Sundargarh.
The SUV crashed into a vehicle while it was turning into the petrol pump to get fuel. The impact was so strong that the bike flew and fell into an open darin besides the road. All three on the bike were flung into the drain.
Locals noticed the accident and rushed to help, but it was too late. All three of them were in a critical condition. By the time they were rescued and sent to the hospital they had succumbed.
