New guidelines for Ganesh Puja in Bhubaneswar has been issued, there shall be no DJ or firecracker during immersion ceremony.
Reports said that, DJ music will not be allowed during Ganesh Puja, and firecrackers are prohibited during the immersion procession.
Further, musical performances and other events must conclude by 10 pm. The Commissionerate Police has issued these guidelines for Ganesh Puja in Bhubaneswar this year. Thirty platoons of police personnel will be deployed across the city, and special security arrangements have been made.
As many as 420 idols will be worshipped across Bhubaneswar. The police have put security measures in place, focusing specifically on ensuring orderly viewing at the puja pandals and effective traffic management.
Emphasis has been placed on managing operations through the deployment of numerous volunteers and CCTV surveillance. Provisions have also been made for the deployment of both plain-clothes and female police personnel.
PCR units and special teams have been alerted to keep a close watch on criminals. Instructions have been issued for the ‘HER’ team to remain active and vigilant, with a focus on women’s safety.
Locations for idol immersion have been identified at seven sites, and the dates for the three-day immersion process have been announced.
