Today, a sudden bolt of lightning strike occurred in Kukudazhuli village of Bankighirdi panchayat under Binika police station in Sonpur district of Odisha.
According to reports four people were working in the field at that time. The lightning death in Sonepur was due to the sudden lightning strike, there was no time to react. The workers of Kukudazhuli village, were seriously injured. One of them has breathed her last on the spot.
Later, they were rescued in a critical condition and admitted to Binika Community Health Center with the help of 108 ambulance. One of them is undergoing treatment at the hospital in a critical condition.
