Building demolition in Keralam turns tragic, two labourers were killed and two others were seriously injured. Reliable reports say that, a concrete beam collapsed.
This incident occurred during the demolition of a building at Muthalakkodam in Idukki’s Thodupuzha. According to the police, the deceased during the building demolition in Keralam have been identified as natives of Kothamangalam.
The police and the fire personnel were informed immediately. The Police, the fire and the rescue personnel from Thodupuzha rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. The trapped workers were pulled out after an extended effort to remove the heavy concrete debris.
However it was found that two labourers had succumbed on the spot whereas two others were critically injured. Further detailed reports awaited.
