PUCC fine reduced in Odisha, a much awaited relief. PUCC fine has been reduced from Rs 10,000 to Rs 6,000. Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena’s gave this news. If one violates bike rules for the first time, one will have to pay a fine of Rs 1,000.

If one violates the rules for the second time, one will have to pay a fine of Rs 2,000. For four-wheelers, the first fine will be Rs 2,000. The minister said that the rules for vehicles must be followed.

Reports say that, it is necessary to file pollution papers for all vehicles. In many states, without PUCC, the first fine was fixed at Rs 1,000, but if this rule is violated for the second time by the same vehicle, a fine of Rs 2,000 is being imposed.

But the Odisha government had fixed a fine of Rs 10,000 for this. After the automatic vehicle recording was made at various toll gates, there was a strong reaction from all over the state. As a result, the state transport department announced at that time that the fine amount would be reduced.
