A leopard with her kill at Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary’s safari zone has been captured on camera. The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Prem Kumar Jha has shared this mesmerising moment on his X handle.
The pictures of the female leopard with her kill at Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary exude sheer raw power. The shot has been captured from the safari zone of the Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary in Odisha.
The female leopard in the picture has been seen sitting besides the Sambar that it killed. The mammal looks powerful and proud of her achievement. The pictures of the kill just go to show how mesmerizing moments from the wild can be.

Another Such Wildlife Moment
Recently, one such wildlife moment was captured on camera in the Nanadankanan zoo in Bhubaneswar during the wildlife safari. The tiger hunted a deer at Nandankanan zoo in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar and the dramatic encounter was captured live on camera.
Later, the tourists during a tiger safari in Nanadankanan noticed something unusual. It was a tiger hunting a deer right inside the zoo and sitting and eating its pray. Furthermore, the tiger then dragged the prey to a safer location. This entire act was captured on camera by the shocked tourists.
But several questions were raised as the video went viral on social media. As per the Central Zoo Authority Rules 2009, feeding live food is completely prohibited. The question arises, from where did the tiger hunt the deer? Was it the negligence of the Nandankanan zoo authorities!
However, later the Nandankanan authorities clarified that there had been no violation of zoo regulations or guidelines of the Central Zoo Authority (CZA). They added, the deer is likely to have strayed into the enclosure from the Chandaka wildlife sanctuary.
