All the schools closed in Nabrangpur district of Odisha on August 24, 2026. The categories include Primary and Upper Primary Schools, High Schools, Higher Secondary Schools including Government, Government Aided, OAVs, Private schools under Nabrangpur District will be closed.
The notice about schools closure read, Whereas the India Meteorological Department, Bhubaneswar has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall along with thunderstorm and lightning in the district on 24th August -2026, And whereas, there has been continuous rainfall in various parts of this district leading to situation, which may be difficult for children to navigate.”
Therefore to avoid any untoward situation and keeping the safety of the children in mind the undersigned hereby declares closure of all the Anganwadi Centers, All Govt. Schools, Aided and Private Schools of Nabarangpur District.
However, the Head Masters/ Mistress, Teachers and Anganwadi Workers and other staffs shall remain present in their respective institutions as usual.
