There has been a train accident death in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha said reports on Friday. A youth has died after being hit by a train at Mancheswar railway station.
According to reports, the identity of the youth has not been ascertained, but his age is estimated to be around 40. He is believed to be working in the nearby area.
The youth was wearing grey coloured pants and a yellow T-shirt. At 1 pm, the youth was crossing the railway line at the station when the Howrah Superfast Express train hit him. The youth died on the spot.
The train was going from Bengaluru to Howrah. The Mancheswar GRP police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. A case of death has been registered at Bhubaneswar. The GRP police and the local police are investigating into the train accident death.
