While Jalaka is flowing above the danger mark, Budhabalang is rising towards the warning signal. Flood in Balasore city has led to a state of disarray. Low-lying areas are submerged due to overnight rain. Knee-high water has been seen on the roads between Balasore city and Remuna.
Communication between Remuna and Balasore city has been affected. Similarly, Ekta Nagar, Gudipada, City Clinic Chowk areas in Balasore city have been submerged. Water is flowing on the roads at Nua Sahi Chowk. As a result, normal life has been affected.
The worst impact of the heavy rain has been seen in Balasore district. Due to continuous rain throughout the night, many low-lying areas of Balasore city have been submerged. There is rainwater on the roads. As a result, the movement of common people has been hampered. Many people are facing problems in commuting.
