There has been an accident in Sambalpur district of Odisha, one dead and 10 critical as bus rams into trailer truck. A passenger bus rammed into a trailer truck from behind. One dead, more than 10 seriously injured in the accident.
The accident in Sambalpur happened near Kansar under Jujumural (Jujomura) Police Station jurisdiction. A bus named Shri Jagannath was coming from Puri to Sambalpur when it hit a trailer truck standing near Kansar.
According to information, a passenger bus named ‘Shri Jagannath’ was coming from Puri to Sambalpur. Then a trailer truck in front of it stopped on the roadside near Kansar. For some reason, the bus lost control and hit the trailer truck. The impact was so intense that the front of the bus was crushed badly.
All the injured have been shifted to Sambalpur District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). Some of the critically injured have been shifted to Burla Medical College. The Jujumura police reached the spot and are investigating into the matter.
