Mumbai: An apartment fire in Mumbai has reportedly killed two people and has critically injured six others. A fire broke out on the 11th floor of a ground + upper 12 floored building at Baptista Road, Shanta Bhavan Building, Church Road, Near St. Xavier School, Vileparle (W).
According to reports, the fire broke out on the 11th floor of a building. It was later brought under control. Eight fire tenders were present at the scene. Presently, the situation is currently under control, and the cooling operations are underway.
It has been reported that as many as fifteen (15) people were trapped on the terrace, they have been rescued. However, one woman and one child have died. Two people have been hospitalised due to the apartment fire in Mumbai.
It is further worth mentioning here that, the cause of the fire will be known only after an investigation into the matter. Detailed reports awaited in this matter.
