There are reports of mass resignation in Ravenshaw University situated in the silver city of Cuttack district in Odisha. The mas resignation in Ravenshaw is of the wardens and the assistant wardens of all the hostel of the the university.
The letter of the mass resignation tendered by the wardens and the assistant wardens has been handed over to the Vice Chancellor of the University.
The mass resignation in Ravenshaw was tendered following allegations of misbehaviour by the Cuttack Sadar MLA Prakash Sethi. It has been alleged by the staff that the MLA misbehaved with the chief warden during a meeting held in the University premises.
It is worth mentioning here that the decision of tendering resignation has been supported by the Ravenshaw University Teachers Association (RUTA). This is a developing story, further detailed reports awaited in this regard.
