DJ unit falls in Jajpur on people, critically injures seven. The incident reportedly took place in Jajpur district of Odisha.
The incident took place in Mohammad Jamapur village in Chhatishdevil Panchayat of Jajpur Block. The injured have been admitted to the Jajpur District Headquarter Hospital (DHH).
Yesterday evening, the visarjan was taking place when the incident happened. At this time, the belt of the sound box snapped on the tree branch. The incident of DJ unit falls in Jajpur shocked people.
As a result, the sound boxes fell on the girls dancing in the procession. The locals rescued them and took them to the Jajpur District Headquarter Hospital (DHH). While all of them are undergoing treatment there, the condition of three girls is said to be critical.
Recently on September 27 in Jatni, one person was killed as the loud DJ sound led to severe vibrations and part of a building collapsed.
According to reports, this unfortunate event of one killed in DJ sound happened in Jatni block of Khurda district in Odisha. The incident occurred yesterday during a Ganesh visarjan ceremony.
Reportedly, the vibrations from the DJ unit was so loud that part of a two storied building collapsed. One person died on the spot whereas 13 more were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to various medical facilities nearby.
Further it is worth mentioning here that, the DJ and the procession had been done without prior permission of the authorities.
