Major IPS reshuffle in Odisha, Saravana Vivek M appointed Bhubaneswar DCP.
Further in the major reshuffle in Odisha, Abhinav Sonkar posted as Berhampur SP.
On the other hand, Ajinkya B Mane has been posted as the Dhenkanal SP.
In addition to the above, AB Silpa has been given charge as SDPO, Bargarh.
Earlier on August 21, 2026, another IPS reshuffle in Odisha effected had been effected. According to the notification the following officers were transferred with immediate effect:
Himansu Kumar Lal, IPS (RR-2003)– IG of Police, Northern Range, Sambalpur posted as IG of Police, Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Bhubaneswar and Special Task Force (STF).
Satyabrat Bhoi, IPS (RR-2004)– IG of Police, Northern Central Range, Talcher (with additional charge of Principal, Police Training College, Angul) posted as IG of Police, Intelligence.
Jai Narayan Pankaj, IPS (RR-2005)– IG of Police, Intelligence, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, posted as IG of Police, Southern Range, Brahmapur.
The IPS reshuffle in Odisha also included Niti Shekhar, IPS (RR-2007)– Presently IG of Police, Southern Range, Brahmapur posted as IG of Police (Provisioning), State Police Headquarters.
Charan Singh Meena, IPS (RR-2009)– Presently DIG of Police, Provisioning posted as DIG of Police, Northern Range, Sambalpur.
Ashish Kumar Singh, IPS (RR-2010)– Recently joined the Home Department after repatriation from Central Deputation posted as DIG of Police, Northern Central Range, Talcher, with additional charge of Principal, Police Training College, Angul
