There has been an Air India flight turbulence while landing in Delhi said reports on Tuesday. The news of the turbulence has been officially confirmed by the Airlines. The Air India flight from Phuket experienced the issue while landing in Delhi.
Reports have added that, a number of passengers and crew members have been injured in the turbulence experienced in the Air India flight. They have been rushed to the nearest hospital via ambulance as soon as the flight landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
Sources say, the Air India flight operating from Phuket to Delhi reportedly dropped 300-feet mid-air after encountering a brief issue during the cruise. The aircraft however, landed safely in Delhi and all passengers were disembarked. The flight is said to have suffered minor damage.
According to official Air India sources at least ten people including passengers and crew members suffered minor injuries. Air India said, “there have been no serious injuries as of now, the flight landed safely in Delhi airport and all passengers and crew have safely disembarked.”
