Rain in Odisha to continue

Rain in Odisha to continue for five days due to low pressure. Such weather conditions have been created due to the influence of a cyclone active in the north-west Bay of Bengal and the north Odisha coast.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain in Odisha to continue from September 16 to September 20. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms  and gusty winds.

Reports say that, many districts of north and coastal Odisha will see rains. Yellow warning has been issued for many districts including Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara.

Heavy rain is possible in some places. In addition, there is a possibility of wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour with thunderstorm. Therefore, people have been advised to be alert during such weather phenomena.

Meanwhile, the highest temperature in the state was recorded in Cuttack at 35.6 degrees Celsius. For the next few days, the people of the state have been asked to monitor the warning of the Meteorological Department and stay in safe places during thunderstorms and storms.
