72nd National film awards to be held in Gujarat, this is for the first time ever that the venue has shifted outside Delhi, said reliable reports.
According to reports, the 72nd National Film Awards 2024 ceremony will be held on September 22, 2026. It is organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. But this year the venue will not be Delhi.
Reports say that, the prestigious award ceremony will be held at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, a globally renowned tourist destination in Narmada district of Gujarat.
Further it is worth mentioning here that, it is for the first time in the more than 70 year history of the National Film Awards that it is being held outside Delhi. The prestigious ceremony will be held outside Delhi, in Gujarat. This will be a moment of immense pride for Gujarat and particularly for Narmada district.
