In a shocking and tragic incident, a 16 year old has been gang raped in Noida in a moving bus said reports. According to reports, an incident involving the gang-rape of a minor schoolgirl on a sleeper bus has come to light.
The gang-rape of the 16 year old student took place on a sleeper bus in the Kashmere Gate area. The incident reportedly occurred on the night of August 4. The bus had reportedly been sent for repairs to Timarpur.
On the night of August 4, the 16 year old gang raped in Noida matter was reported to the Kashmiri Gate police station. The girl herself reported to the police that she had been raped on a bus in Noida. During questioning, it was revealed that she was traveling from Mainpuri, UP, to a relative’s house in Sector 63, Noida. The rape occurred en route between Pari Chowk (Greater Noida) and Sector 63, Noida.
Following the incident, the bus driver and conductor dropped her off on the Ring Road, within the jurisdiction of the Kashmere Gate police station, far from the actual crime scene. The police immediately arranged for the victim’s medical examination and registered a case.
Furthermore, with the help of the CCTV footage, the bus was traced, and both perpetrators were arrested within a few hours. The victim was produced before the Child Welfare Committee. The police have seized the sleeper bus used in the crime, and it is undergoing forensic examination. The police have arrested the driver and conductor accused of the gang-rape. Both the driver and conductor are from rural Kanpur.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
