There has been a tragic bike accident in Cuttack district of Odisha on Monday in which one person has been killed. The accident occurred near Cuttack Jobra Barrage road.
According to reports, an unidentified car rammed against the bike on the road and sped away. One youth was killed on the spot and the other has been critically injured. While patrolling, the traffic police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
Reports further added that after the road accident in Cuttack, there was a traffic snarl on the Jobra Barrage road. However later the locals and the police cleared off the traffic jam.
The police have started an investigation at the spot. Efforts are on to identify the vehicle that caused the accident and fled. The CCTV camera footage is being checked and information about the vehicle and the driver is being collected. Further detailed reports awaited.
